Tuesday, 15th November: Local Historian Carole Vivian will give an illustrated talk in Whitecross Village Hall (Lanteglos Highway) at 7 pm entitled "In Search of Smugglers", a fascinating insight into the history of contraband activity in South East Cornwall. Friday, 25th November: The talk in Lerryn by Tony Foster on "Painting Everest" has had to be postponed, probably until the New Year. Saturday, 26th November: Live music by the "Occasionally Big Band" at the Punch Bowl Inn, Lanreath, from 8 pm til late. Admission £7 to include a buffet supper. A lively night of good rock'n roll, 50s - 90s!! Sunday, 18th December: Traditional Service of Lessons and Carols at 6.30 pm in the Sunday School (behind the church), followed by mulled wine and mince pies. |
